For Christmas my sister gave the girls these wonderful jackets. They are really "unique" and get the girls alot of attention. The day after Christmas Nichole and Zoe went to the mall with my mom and a couple of ladies came up to Nichole to find out wear she got her her cute coat. Nichole typical response is that her Aunt had it hand made, which is true, but the lady that made them does it for a business - so anyone could get a jacket just like Nichole's - except Nichole wants to keep it as her little secret - be original.
Nichole wore it to a New Year Eve block party and all the ladies came up to her and were commenting on her jacket and her Miss Me jeans. Nichole was in high heaven. At high school everyone knows Nichole now as the "Jacket Girl" and it has helped her to get noticed - which is one of her goals.
Now the funny part - I had to lay the background. Zoe's wore her jacket to school and her teacher is the high school cheer coach - the girls at the high school had asked Nichole were she got the jacket and Nichole wouldn't tell them. So Zoe's teacher worked on Zoe (the weak link) and Zoe gave up the information - told her the website and everything. A couple of weeks later - Nichole goes to school to see in horror that the varsity cheer girls all had jackets like Nichole's except they were black but had the same symbol on the back. Zoe came home and told Nichole that she had spilled the beans. You have to love little sister - now Zoe is on the playground with her jacket on and the teacher is out there with her jacket on.
How much does Nichole like her Miss Me jeans and jacket (you have to look at the whole outfit)? Well I can always tell when Nichole wants to dress to impress - the jeans and jacket come out. Zoe had to dance at halftime for Mesa Community College. When it is time to go Nichole comes out in her jacket and jeans. I thought to myself - she wants to look good for some parents and maybe a couple college kids - oh well. Come to find out that one of the girls on Zoe's dance team has a brother in Nichole grade at school - and let's just say I figured out really quick why we were dressed to impress. After the game the guy came up to talk to Nichole - so her plan worked. Kristine and I talked about going up and embarrassing Nichole but we laid back and gave her a one time pass. When they finished talking I went up to Nichole and asked her how it went. She said that a lady with a couple of little kids came up to her and asked her where she got her cute jacket and jeans - Nichole stuck to the standard response. When the lady left the boy - starts with a T - Trever, Tim, Trent, Tony or something said to Nichole - you and your jacket.
Now when I see her in the outfit I have to say - funny it looks sunny today - but you must be expecting it to start raining teenage boys (rather than men).
