Zoe slept in my room while I was gone because she missed her big sister. Gotta love little sisters.

Nichole went to girls camp and had a wonderful time. The mother's in the ward call the camp princess camp because of the deluxe accommodations. Nichole is sitting here while I am trying to write something so why not have her write it.

Day 1:

Wednesday morning we got up there and unpacked everything and then went to lunch and had a BBQ. I must say all the camp food we have up there is sooo good. Anyways, after lunch we went and did some rotations. Our theme for this year was SWEET IS THE WORK. So our first rotation was learning a hip hop dance to I Want Candy. Then after that we went to the mail room and talked about this year theme: Being Steadfast and Immovable. Then we went to this dirt lot behind the gym and we had to pick up rocks off the ground because the campground wants to make a softball field. Then for our last rotation we played Link Tag. Later that night we played Candy land. We were all separated into years. Our first game that we played was where 2 girls from each year went up and one girl had to put on a big outfit and then when they bl owed the whistle they had to put balloons into the clothes and whoever had the most balloons won, and of course 2 YEARS WON!

It's a little hard to see but that is the 2nd years stuffing balloons in the clothes.

Then when that was done we had to have 2 more girls go up and they had to wrap a leader up with red and white paper and then cover them with Saran wrap to make the leaders look like candy canes.

The 3rd challenge was 2 girls went up and one had to go through a bucket full of little snappy things that you put in a box when you mail something. Anyways you had to go through that and find a big button. Then the other girl had to sew the button onto a blanket.

I erased all the pictures of the girls doing this challenge, but these are the YCL's caring out the buckets.

The 4 challenge was a obstacle course. One girl had to go through the course blindfolded and the other girl had to tell her where to go. And then the last challenge was you had two girls and one was behind a girls back and they had to decorate a cupcake and then feed it to the person in front of them. Then they switched and the other person had to do the same thing. It's a little hard to explain. Here is my friend that is 1st year doing the challenge.

The person behind your back was supposed to feed it to you not you feed it to yourself, Oh well!!

After that was all over we went back to our cabin and all night the girls in my room, all night we talked. One of my friends was so tired she fell right asleep as soon as she hit her pillow.

DAY 2: HIKE DAY!!

Thursday was our hike. But it was a lot different then last year.They had stations during the hike and you would stop at the station and you would do some certification and have a little devotional. The cafeteria had also made us sack lunch's so at the stations we would eat our lunch during the devotionals. After the hike we were all hot and sweaty so the stake had some places you could go to cool down. You could put on your water clothes and go to the baseball field and play water games, or you could go to the archery place and do archery, or you could go to the gym and play board games. A few of my friends and I decided to do the water. So we got on our water clothes and went over to the field. We ended up playing water kickball which was a lot of fun. And then did water balloons and got soaked. So we all walked back to the cabin dripping wet and freezing. When we got back, we changed and had to go practice our skit. After practicing for what felt like forever we went and had dinner. After dinner we went to the gym and we all did our skits. Our wards skit was we sang "Natural Woman: Camp Version"It was hilarious. Then we got back and we all took showers. And then the YCL's came in for a while and french braided everbody's hair. Then that night we had like 4 girls that were throwing up and getting all sick and we all figured it was the pizza we had had for dinner. So that night we had one beehive room the was the sick room and another beehive room that was the "party" room. I was of course in the "party" room. We stayed up real late and played games.

My friend Braelyn got her hair braided the 1st night and then she took it out Friday night. It looked so cute.

Day 3:

On Friday we had more rotaions. We went and made blankets.

We also made these cute magnet boards.

Then the stake presidency each taught a little lesson. Then for the last rotation we went to mailroom and madecards for people. Then our bishop and his counselers came and we did a little maze thing and then we braided 4 pieces of string. My turned out so cute.Then we had dinner with the bishops and then we went and then went to the gym to watch our spiritual play/skit. After we all went outside and we did Singing Trees (that's where the ward each have a song to sing, and everyone has their flashlights off but when it's your wards time to sing you all turn on your flashlights on and sing) that was so nice. After our ward got done singing we were all bawling.

After that our ward took a hike to our campfire for Testimony meeting. The bishop had brought hot chocolate and Krispy KremeDoughnuts. YUM!! Then we started the meeting after everyone finished eating. Our bishop was up bearing his testimony and a spider started crawling up my friends leg and she jumped screaming. It was so funny. But luckily there was a lady in our ward who lover to hike and is always in nature so the went over and calmed her down, and then steppped on the spider. My friend would not sit down. Finally after 3 testimones and hers she sat down. Yes, I did say my testimony this year, last year I didn't which I regret so much, but yes I said my testimony.

So after the meeting my bishops asked all the class presidents to stay. Everyone else thought that they were just having a meeting and everything was ok. Well about 10 minutes after we had gotten to the cabin the presidents walk in crying. All the beehives had no idea what was going on. Well what had happened was our camp leader was coming up to camp Friday night. She was driving to fast and was going down a hill and went out of the lane and then tried to correct herself and get back in the lane. Well she over corrected herself and flipped the car 6 times. Now let me tell you, she was about 8-81/2 months pregnant she also had a daughter my age (she was the one with the cute hair.). So she flipped and she was stuck under the car. Some guys pulled over and lifted the car off of her. She was helicoptered to the Scottsdale hospital and there had her baby. Luckily the baby was a.o.k. but she had totally damaged one of her arms so she had to have multiple surgery's. After we had heard the story and our YW's president left we were all talking about it and scared Braelyn must be. (She was in the leaders room and the bishop had givin her a blessing) so she walks into our room and she has a smile on her face. We asked her why she was happy and she said she was so excited she had a new brother and he had red hair. She wasn't thinking about her mom but about her brother.(That was her there are now 8 kids in her family. :)

Day 4:

Saturday we packed everything up and went home. As we were coming home we stopped at a gas station to get snacks. Well it ended it up being that we were there for 2 hours and we all had lunch. Microwavable pizzas, YUM!! So we got home later then we had expected.
